Fabrice’s story

Fabrice is a student at the school of Mogtedo. He is 12 years old and is the oldest of his 5 siblings. During the summer, Fabrice spends his time helping his family in the field cultivating crops or taking care of his siblings. In addition, he does water chores by getting water from the forage, which is about 10 miles away from their house, 3 to 5 times a week.

In addition, Fabrice digs sand to sell in order toll to help pay for his school and buy his supplies.

When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he said “I want to study hard and one day attend university and become a doctor, so I will be able to take care of my family”.

Thrive of Mogtedo mission is to help students like Fabrice achieve their dreams.

Fabrice’s story is one of many.
