Giving Hope Through Education
Thrive of Mogtedo is a US-based 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization with the focus of empowering kids through education in Mogtedo, Burkina Faso in West Africa. Mogtedo is a small village near Ouagadougou in the Koubri Department, kadiogo Province where the public school is confronted with huge problems due to lack of governmental support. The villagers need financial and material help to overcome ongoing poverty. The goal is to provide the school with desperately needed school supplies, meals for the students, and other miscellaneous items.
Student Support
There are various problems that the students of Mogtedo face. From an hour-long commute, to attending school on an empty stomach, we exist to meet the needs of the students and remove as many roadblocks to learning as possible.
Teacher Support
The e overarching goal is to improve the quality of life in the village of Mogtedo through education. A goal that is unachievable without equipping the teacher with everything they needed to accomplish their mission.
