2024 END OF SCHOOL YEAR CELEBRATION

On July 11, 2024, Thrive of Mogtedo held its annual End of School Year Celebration, a heartwarming event that brought together our community to honor the achievements of our students and the dedication of our teachers. This school year, we proudly served 318 students across six grades. Notably, 48 students took the Certificat d’Etudes Primaires (CEP), and 46 successfully passed the National Exam.

The celebration saw a turnout of 600 people, including students, parents, and community members. During the event, we recognized and rewarded 40 students for their outstanding academic performance throughout the school year. Additionally, we celebrated the success of three sixth graders who excelled in their studies and passed the National Primary Education Certification Examination.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to achieve the following during this year's End of School Year Celebration:

  • Purchased 6 bags of 50kg (110.2 lbs) of rice: This allowed us to feed 318 students, approximately 500 guests, and parents from the community.

  • Rewarded 40 students: They received textbooks, books, and backpacks for their commendable academic performance.

  • Celebrated the top five 6th graders: The students with the highest grades were gifted bicycles, textbooks, books, and backpacks.

  • Thanked our dedicated teachers: Each teacher received a small cash gift of 10,828.57 CAF ($20) in appreciation for their hard work and commitment to their students.

We are deeply grateful for your continued support of Thrive of Mogtedo. Your generosity enables us to keep showing love to the village school and making a meaningful impact on the lives of the students and the community.
